It's Christmas Eve....
It's Christmas Eve...Trees are trimmed, halls decked, and cookies baked. Grandchildren posing for sweet pictures...what memories! It took awhile to get in the spirit, but we are there! The excitement can be felt through the children's reactions to all the marvelous things they find at every turn. Soon we will be heading to their Great Grandmother's for all the goodies that await them there...but the most important thing is the love that radiates from the hearts of family and friends. It truly is a wonderful time of the year, May God Bless and Keep You and Yours at this Special Time. Merry Christmas!

Joshua is "Growing Up"
Joshua is growing up so fast. He now loves to pose for me, only a few months ago it was a miracle to get him to be still. He has such a sweet loving personality. Don't get me wrong, like all little boys he can be a little devil when the notion strikes. The baby/toddler era has been left behind and in their place, a little man has begun to emerge. He told us that he could go to get his hair cut alone, that he was a "big boy". (his uncle is a barber and lives few hundred feet from us) We were later told that he sat perfectly still and carried on quiet a conversation. He loves school, and has new friends now that he is in Kindergarten. I just can't believe 5 years has passed so quickly!

The Perfect Poem

Sheree is always finding cute poems and sayings and she sent me one. I have to agree with her that it is the perfect poem for the pics I took last year. I was hoping to get one of all the Great Grandchildren again this year, but it didn't work out. Maybe during the Christmas holidays. Hope you enjoy...

Please! Not the camera again...
As many may know I spent 3 weeks with Dylan and his parents recently. I enjoyed myself throughly! It was so much fun being with this little fellow, how he has captured my heart! He is many things, funny, vivacious, handsome and most of all so loving. I was going through the hundreds of photos I took while visiting(I don't get many photo ops because of the distant) and I came across this one. It made me laugh out loud, it's as though he's saying not the camera again MieMie! My older grandchildren often have the same reaction, but not my youngest....
They grow up so fast. I blink my eyes and they are finishing preschool, kindergarten and even some entering 4th grade next year. Before I know it Dylan will be joining their ranks. I thought my babies grew up quick, little did I know that my grandchildren would grow up quicker. Have a wonderful day!

I'm Back Yea!

It's finished! It's Over Yeaaaa! I always look forward to working during Tax Season, it comes right after I've spent all my money during Christmas. By the middle of the season~ I have had enough LOL! It's long hours, but the pay is really nice.
Sunday we took Josh and Tori for a day of exploring. Our kids went on many of these impromptu excursions. We started out in Bayminette, AL. and reached Gulf Shores around 2 p.m. A stop at McDonalds for Happy Meals and then on to the water.
The Alabama State Park is making a come back after taking a hard hit recent years from Ivan and Katrina. The grand kids enjoyed kicking off their boots and wading along the shoreline. We promised them a trip back once it got warmer so they could wade out a bit farther. Our time spent at the park brought back sweet memories of when our children were small and we would visit and picnic here.
After leaving the park we explored a bit more and finally made it to Florida. We didn't stop, just drove through on Blue Angel Parkway out to Interstate 10 and headed back to Mobile. The grand kids were tired and so were we. Life is about making memories to cherish when we get old and I'm for living a life full of awesome memories....
