Merry Christmas!

Here it is December already ... Dylan will be celebrating his first Christmas! Unbelievable... Seems like only yesterday we were standing in front of the nursery seeing this amazing little guy for the first time. He has truly stolen our hearts, as has our other grandchildren. God has so richly blessed us, and been so gracious in doing so. We tend to forget how fortunate we are until a tragedy puts a new perspective on things. This is a magical time of year for the little ones in our lives and throughout the world, I pray that we all can feel the magic and remember the true reason we celebrate Christmas. Just in case I do not find the time to post again before Christmas....Here's wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas! Oh yea I can't post without a picture... We finally got the boys together for a photo that I could hardly wait to get, I saw this pose when Dylan was but a few weeks old. Although there is almost 4 years between them I pray that Josh and Dylan will become great friends with a closeness that will vanish the miles that separate them. We are proud of all our grandkids, the girls as well as the boys. Hugs, Linda

Dylan & Mickey

Hey Everyone,

I spent 2 weeks in Katy, TX. with Sheree, Matt and Dylan. It was wonderful to be with them! I caught up on my youngest grandson's personality, and I must say he is his own little guy. Sheree insisted before I came that all we would watch would be the Mickey Mouse Club House ... I really doubted that, little did I know. Dylan loves Mickey and he wants to watch him non stop...really non stop! He's so content to watch him, then he realizes your not watching with him ... LOL** He talked his Mama into buying him a tiny stuffed Mickey before they brought me back, but on his way back to Texas he truly convinced his Daddy to buy him one that sings and dances...LOL This 5 month old wonder knows how to get his way ... LOL I must say that Daddy doesn't spoil him like Mommy does. They are awesome parents and I'm so proud of them both! Dylan is an amazing little guy and he has captured our hearts!!!! I decided that he needed a special photo of him and his best friend!

Dylan and Joshua

Going through some old images and came across this one of Josh, he's grew up so quick. Dylan is a bit older than the photo of Josh. I think they favor each other...my grandsons "How precious they both are to me." Josh is now 4 years old.

4th of July

The 4th of July proved to be a very wet and soggy one! Destiny, Tori and Josh spent the day with us. We had the traditional cookout, although we ate it inside. Grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, and baked beans. Dirtcake for desert and later in the evening we managed to cut and eat watermelon outside. Once we had our watermelon, the animals ... Blue the goat, Dallas the the horse, Lady the miniature horse and last but not least Buddy the Shetland Pony got theirs. Well the kids wanted to ride Buddy, so they got their wish, one time around in a small circle. I'm so glad that they had on old play clothes. All said and done we had a Blessed holiday.

Update

So much has been going on in our lives! New grandson Dylan Joseph arrived on March 28. I spent four weeks with Dylan and his parents in Katy, TX. Then it was graduation time for Tori, who will now enter Kindergarten this fall. Joshua had his 4th B-day, and he will enter pre-school this fall. Destiny has played softball this summer, she made All Stars! Sheree and Dylan spent about 12 days with us in June, Matt our son in law had some major traveling to do for the company. He visited Cairo, Egypt along with Aberdeen, Scotland and last but not least Paris, France. It was a very fast paced trip for him ... not one for site seeing. We Thank God he was granted a safe trip. Now we are going into the month of July very soon, and Dylan will be Dedicated on the 1st. if all goes as planned. Oh I almost forgot, I took pics of all the Great Grandchildren on the Walker's side....That's the photo! They are like steps. Oldest to youngest...Courtney, Collin, Destiny, Tayla, Ryan, Tori, Josh, Kylie, and baby Dylan. My grandchildren are Destiny, Tori, Josh and Dylan. Until the next time....

Hi,

Trying to decide what to post, everyone will get tired of my children and grandchildren's photo's so I have decided to share with y'all my other baby...kid...best friend (well next to best friend). My buddy Luger, he's very much apart of our family. He's super smart and obey's better than the kids and g-kids.
